TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (FTN) – A Terre Haute toddler had a hard time figuring out a smaller slide than he is use to using.
It happened to two-year-old Alex Essex at the Bouncin Barn in Terre Haute.
While playing, Essex’s parents say he came across a small Little Tikes slide.
“He likes to walk up slides with his dad’s help. He could do this one by himself” Alex’s mother, Ami told us.
When he walked up the slide, he turned around and attempted to go down face first…and ultimately needed help getting down.

“He goes on slides much…much higher than this on his own, and loves them. I think this small slide really messed with him,” Ami said.
No injuries were reported in the incident, but his parents say before he uses this slide again, he will receive additional training.
