Department of Parenting issues new guidance on food bribes for kids during isolation

The Department of Parenting says it is okay to bribe your kids to do things while isolation rules are in place.

The decision came down Monday after a Terre Haute dad used a pack of gummy snacks to get his four year old to help clean.

“The DOP, in new guidance, believes during these unprecedented times using snacks to bribe a cooped up child is fine. Usually we advice against it…but we have had to make changes,” DOP Spokesperson Chris Essex said.

The DOP says the implications of using snacks to bribe could be had…but in this case it’s okay.

Parents across the country say their cooped up kids are driving them crazy.
