TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (KNN) – A 2:30 a.m. wake up call had a local three-year-old making an unusual demand.
It happened early Monday morning on god city’s south side.
Alex Essex’s dad Chris said he heard his son awake and crying.
“When I went out there, Alex took his Ewwie Gooey…his name for his black and white comforter, and pulled some pillows out of the closet to sleep on the floor” Chris said.
Chris told us the pillows didn’t even have cases on them.
“At first he wanted me to leave him alone so he could sleep…I informed him he needed to go back to bed. He wasn’t happy about that? Chris said.
Alex was able to be talked back into going to bed.Chris told us Alex wanted to talk about car washes and Thomas trains.
“He’s been quiet got about 20 minutes…I think I’m good at this point. Plus my wife’s wake up with Alex on-call shift starts at 4:00 a.m. and we are almost there,” Chris said.
