TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (FTN) – A Vigo County toddler says he regrets getting a temporary tattoo.
It happened on Tuesday afternoon in southern Vigo County.
Three-year-old Alex Essex’s mom, Ami, said the toddler request a pair of temporary tattoos on his upper arm.
“He got a bunch of them in his Easter basket. He wanted a skateboard and another one that said stay cool,” Ami said.
On Tuesday, when Alex’s dad, Chris, noticed the tattoo, he asked the toddler about it.
“Tattoo off. Take the tattoo off,” Alex said.
Chris thinks Alex may have forgotten about the tattoo, because his shirt sleeve covered it.
“I was getting him out of his PJs when they caught my eye,” Chris said. “He was not happy to have them.”
Chris admits he has used temporary tattoos to troll his toddler in the past.
“I have put them on his forehead before. It’s funny, because he doesn’t even know it is there,” Chris told us.
Alex is expected to receive a bath at some point in the day on Wednesday, which parents expect will wash off most of the tattoo.
