Toddler faces time-out for allegedly trying to kill a toy

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (FTN) – A Terre Haute toddler is facing time-out after he was accused of trying to kill one of his toys.

It happened on Tuesday night at a home in the southern part of Vigo County.

According to parents, they found two-year-old Alex Essex’s Codapiller toy on top of the family dog’s water bowl.

Parents say the toy was not fully submerged in the water, avoiding damage.

“We didn’t see him actually place the toy on the water bowl, however, Alex is our primary suspect at this time,” Chris Essex, said.

If convicted, Alex faces up to three minutes of time out.
