TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (FTN) – Two Vigo County parents are asking for help after their toddler’s new toy turned up missing.
On Sunday, Alex Essex, 2, received a new ‘Mater’ toy.
Mater is the tow truck from the Disney/Pixar Cars series.
The toy was reported missing by Alex’s parents, Chris and Ami on Wednesday morning.
The parents say it was last seen at dinner time on Tuesday.
“Alex like to have a couple of toys with him while he eats. He was rollin it around on the table,” Ami said.
Ami, Chris, and Alex spent much of Wednesday morning searching for the “New Mater.”
It is described as being about three inches tall, by about four or five inches long. The toy has a brown body and only having two teeth.
Chris told us they are using an older, Mega Bloks version of Mater in the meantime to keep their toddler happy.
