TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (FTN) – “Egg-citing” or “Egg on his face?”
A Terre Haute toddler has discovered what he believes is a “kitty egg.”
Two-year-old Alexander Essex announced the discovery on Wednesday via social media, saying “I knew cats laid eggs…now I have proof.”
The discovery happened while he was trekking through his living room.
Experts that have looked at the photo say it clearly isn’t a kitty egg since kitty eggs are greenish brown.
“Everyone knows when cats lay eggs, they are not white. That is so cliche,” Alex’s Little People toy, Zoo man said.
Alex’s mother, Ami Essex said she won’t burst his bubble…or in this case, balloon.
“He was so excited. I didn’t have the heart to tell him it was a balloon. His ego needed a little inflating, I wasn’t going to be the one to let the air out,” Ami said.
